• Guide Crane, Auxiliary, and Back Plant Operators to maintain a safe and efficient operation
• Effectively monitor Covanta operations systems and have a strong working knowledge of boiler, turbine, and auxiliary equipment operations
• Experienced in reading blueprints, P&IDs, and schematic specifications
• Manage critical events and prioritize tasks for completion at times during emergencies, providing clear directions in operational, safety, and environmental tasks
• Respond to operational alarms, taking immediate corrective action
• Demonstrate solid understanding of operational best practices, including the ability to problem solve and make sound decisions that support Covanta's safety and operational goalsPosition Requirements & Qualifications:
  • High School Diploma or equivalent
  • Must be able to work 12-hour rotating shifts.Total Rewards & Compensation:
