This role is pivotal in ensuring the smooth operation of our agricultural machinery and equipment, through both electrical and mechanical maintenance and repairs. The Electro Mechanic Technician will troubleshoot issues, conduct regular preventive maintenance, and suggest improvements to enhance operational efficiency. Working in alignment with Cargill’s dedication to safety, sustainability, and innovation, the technician will play a key role in supporting our agricultural operations and partnerships. Perform routine and emergency maintenance on agricultural machinery and equipment, focusing on both electrical and mechanical components. Troubleshoot and repair issues with farming equipment to minimize downtime and enhance functionality. Implement preventive maintenance programs that reduce the risk of future breakdowns and extend equipment lifespan. Collaborate with the operations team to ensure machinery operates at peak efficiency. Adhere to all safety protocols and regulations while performing maintenance tasks. Recommend enhancements and modifications to improve system performance and sustainability. Strong understanding of electrical and mechanical systems related to agricultural machinery. Proficient in using tools and diagnostic equipment for maintenance and repairs. Ability to read and interpret technical documents and diagrams. Familiarity with safety practices and risk management. Problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
