An exciting opportunity is available for a skilled Registered Nurse with CVOR experience in a dynamic Level I trauma center located in Frisco, TX. This travel position offers the chance to work in a high-acuity environment featuring 29 operating rooms across two buildings, including two heart rooms and two hybrid rooms. The role demands expertise in open heart and endovascular surgery, with hands-on experience managing advanced technologies such as IABP, Impella, and ECMO. Key Responsibilities: Provide perioperative nursing care for open heart and endovascular surgical procedures. Collaborate effectively with multidisciplinary teams, including CT and vascular surgeons. Manage complex cardiovascular cases with attention to patient safety and surgical protocols. Support 2-10 cardiovascular cases daily, ensuring seamless flow in a fast-paced OR environment. Maintain operating room readiness and sterile field standards. Qualifications / Desired Experience: Current RN licensure with CVOR certification. Proven experience in open heart and endovascular surgical nursing. Familiarity with IABP, Impella devices, and ECMO support. Ability to thrive in a Level I trauma center setting with multiple ORs.
