Registered Nurse (RN) | Long-Term Care Location: Meeker, CO Agency: Job.com LLC Pay: $2,100 to $2,200 per week Shift Information: Days - 5 days x 8 hours Contract Duration: 26 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Location: Meeker, CO Role: Interim Director of Nursing (LTC) Shift: 8-hour days, 5 days a week Pay - $2100 to $2200/weekly Essential Functions Plan, direct, implement, and evaluate resident care. Ensure the Long Term Care unit is compliant with all mandatory regulations and requirements. Coordinate and provide staff education and in-services. Assess the educational needs of staff and create development plans. Prepare annual facility goals and objectives. Conduct Quality Improvement (QI) studies to enhance patient care. Prepare for the annual State Nursing Home Survey. Develop and manage the budget; maintain appropriate staffing levels. Document and justify the need for additional equipment and supplies. Review and update protocols, procedures, and guidelines. Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Education and Experience Bachelor’s Degree from an accredited Nursing School required. Master’s Degree in Nursing preferred. Current, unencumbered RN license required. Previous experience in a long-term care (LTC) setting required. Current BLS certification required within six (6) months of hire or transfer. “Train the Trainer” certification to provide CNA classes required within six (6) months of hire or transfer.
