We’re searching for a personable dental hygienist to join our talented team of health care providers! You’ll welcome patients and conduct their initial screenings, perform thorough, dental cleanings, and help dentists with examinations and procedures. This position can be either part time or full time depending on the right fit of the team member within the team! - Very competitive salary and benefits - Mon-Tues 8-5 and Wed-Thurs 8-3 with a daily huddle at 7:30 (avg 36 hrs) - 4% 401(k) match - Dental benefits Compensation: $90,000 - $100,000 yearly Responsibilities: - Aid dentists by deliberating the best way to treat a variety of dental disease - Remove plaque and apply fluoride or other sealants to prevent cavities and tooth decay - Put patients at ease by talking with them before, during, and after the appointment - Record any changes to the patient’s health history and document the ongoings of each appointment - Use molds to create dental impressions of patients’ teeth so that their mouthguards, dentures, veneers, etc. are correctly made Qualifications: - 1 years of experience in dental hygiene work - Able to stand up for long periods of time to administer dental exams and procedures - Possesses a state license to practice dental hygiene - Strong communication skills, interpersonal skills, and customer service skills - Must have at least an associate’s degree in dental hygiene; bachelor’s degree preferred About Company We are a leading general private dentistry practice conveniently located in the heart of Monument, CO.
