Job Title: CT Tech Profession: Radiology / Cardiology Specialty: CT Tech Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night 4x10-Hour Hours per Shift: 21:00 - 07:30 Experience: Minimum of 1 year with at least 6 months in the field of Computerized Tomography and X-Ray experience is required. License: Must have state/compact license in hand. Certifications: BLS required and ARRT required. Must-Have: MediTech and GE/Siemens experience preferred. Flu shot required during flu season. COVID-19 vaccine required with no exemptions. Description: The position is for a CT Tech/X-Ray Tech. The daily caseload per tech is between 35 and 50. First-time travelers are accepted for this position. Weekend work may be required as needed for on-call duties. On-call responsibilities are required for 1-2 nights per week. The clinician may float within their scope to meet facility needs. Floating may be required to sister facilities as needed. The schedule is open to accommodating a block schedule from Monday to Thursday during nighttime hours. Locals are accepted for this position with no radius restrictions. RTO must be presented up front for approval. Special Requirements include a flu shot during flu season and a mandatory COVID-19 vaccine with no exemptions. This role is in a busy level III trauma center. All CTs are performed except a few select exams. Currently, cardiac CT scans are not done but are expected to change in the future. In X-ray, diagnostic, fluoroscopy, and surgery cases are performed. The facility is very busy in the operating room especially with orthopedic and pain management cases.
