Position Overview:The General Manager is responsible for interfacing and consulting with qualified patients and caregivers, and administering approved medical marijuana products. The General Manager oversees all activities related to the operation of the Dispensary, including patient identification and registration, record retention, product tracking, and inventory control as directed by the Vice President, Regional Operations. This position is located at our Medicine Man dispensary in Aurora, CO.Pay: $60,000 - $75,000Major Areas of Responsibility include:

• Providing management and leadership in the Dispensary, including monitoring all point of sale transactions.
• Managing patient logs, inventory receipt, storage, auditing, and ordering supplies, while maintaining accurate records.
• Resolving inventory discrepancies and patient-staff conflicts as the responsible party at the Dispensary.
• Developing privacy policies and procedures, ensuring security and confidentiality of patient information, and maintaining compliance with HIPAA.
• Directing department managers to achieve goals in accordance with safety procedures and state regulations.
• Maintaining records required by public health law and implementing quality assurance plans to prevent dispensing errors.
• Managing policies for retesting, storage, disposal of returned products, and reporting adverse events and recalls.
• Assisting with security systems related to tracking, record keeping, and surveillance of products at all storage and transportation stages.
• Fostering a company culture focused on quality, continuous improvement, teamwork, and high performance.
• Implementing HR policies, ensuring job descriptions are current, and conducting investigations and exit interviews.
• Creating employee training programs and conducting performance reviews.
• Implementing HR software systems, recruiting, and managing talent acquisition.
• Building a quality assurance program linked to performance reviews.
• Developing compensation and benefits programs, managing leave practices, and maintaining facilities.
