- Build financial reports, including the Profit & Loss (P&L) statement, Balance Sheet, and Cash Flow Statement in accordance with GAAP.
- Manage month-end and year-end closing processes, including reconciliations and financial statement preparation.
- Ensure compliance with GAAP, tax regulations, and company policies.
- Implement and maintain internal controls, including the Risk Control Matrix, to mitigate financial risks.
- Prepare and analyze financial reports, highlighting variances and business performance trends.
- Assist in financial audits by providing the necessary documentation and support.
- Support the Finance Director in strategic financial planning and decision-making.
- Clear and effective communication skills.
- Maintains a documented system of accounting policies and procedures; implements a system of controls over accounting transactions to minimize risk.
- Recommends benchmarks that will be used to measure the company's performance.
- Produces the annual budget and forecasts; reports significant budget differences to management.
- Provides financial analysis, pricing decisions, and contract negotiations.
- Works with external auditors and provides needed information for the annual audit.
