Job Description:

We are seeking a dynamic and experienced Practice Manager to oversee the daily operations of our dermatology practice. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in healthcare management, with specific experience in dermatology or a related field. This position offers the opportunity to lead a talented team of healthcare professionals and contribute to the growth and success of the practice.

Responsibilities:

• Oversee all aspects of practice operations, including staffing, scheduling, patient flow, and facility management, to ensure efficient and effective delivery of patient care.
• Manage administrative staff, clinical staff, and support personnel, providing leadership, guidance, and performance feedback to foster a positive work environment.
• Develop and implement policies, procedures, and protocols to standardize practice operations and ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and industry best practices.
• Collaborate with physicians and other healthcare providers to optimize clinical workflows, streamline processes, and enhance patient satisfaction.
• Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) and financial metrics to track practice performance and identify areas for improvement, implementing strategies to achieve practice goals and objectives.
• Oversee billing and revenue cycle management processes, ensuring accurate coding, timely claim submission, and maximum reimbursement for services rendered.
• Coordinate marketing and outreach initiatives to promote the practice and attract new patients, including digital marketing, community events, and physician referrals.
• Stay abreast of developments in dermatology practice management, healthcare regulations, and technology trends, implementing changes as needed to maintain compliance and competitive advantage.
• Serve as a liaison between the practice, patients, insurance companies, vendors, and other stakeholders, addressing concerns and resolving issues in a timely and professional manner. Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required; Master's degree preferred.
  • Minimum of 2 years of experience in healthcare management, with specific experience in dermatology or a related specialty preferred.
  • Strong leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a diverse team of healthcare professionals.
  • Excellent organizational and problem-solving abilities, with a focus on efficiency, quality, and patient satisfaction.
  • Proficiency in practice management software, electronic health records (EHR), and other relevant technology platforms.
  • Knowledge of healthcare regulations, billing and coding principles, and insurance reimbursement processes.
  • CPR certification may be required depending on state regulations.
