Job Description Maintenance Technician I - Fort Collins, COThis is a full-time, hourly level position.Starting salary range for this position is $22.This position includes a $1,500 sign on bonus ($500 after the completion of a successful 90-day introductory period; $1,000 after the completion of 180 days of continuous employment).Job Summary:The Maintenance Technician I is responsible for performing highly diversified duties to install, troubleshoot, repair and maintain production and facility equipment according to safety, predictive and productive maintenance systems and processes to support the achievement of business goals and objectives.Essential Job Functions:Perform highly diversified duties to install and maintain production machines and plant facility's equipmentProvide emergency/unscheduled repairs of production equipment during production and perform scheduled maintenance repairs of production equipment during machine servicePerform machinist duties and responsibilitiesPerform mechanic skills, including but not limited to, mechanical, electrical, pneumatic, hydraulic, troubleshooting and repair of production machinesRead and interpret equipment manuals and work orders to perform required maintenance and serviceDiagnose problems, replace or repair parts, test and make adjustmentsPerform regular preventative maintenance on machines, equipment and plant facilitiesPerform a variety of plumbing, HVAC, carpentry and industrial cleaning functionsDetect faulty operations, defective material and report those and any unusual situations to proper supervisionUse a variety of hand and power tools, electric meters and material handling equipment in performing dutiesComply with safety regulations and maintain clean and orderly work areasOther duties as assignedJob Qualifications:High school diploma or GED1+ years' manufacturing experience preferredWorking Conditions:Employees in this position working at this location are
