Schedule, coordinate and supervise craft employee activities. May involve supervising one or more trade groups or sub-contractors (Fire alarm, Low Voltage, etc.) working in a particular construction discipline. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS - Completion of a four-year accredited electrical apprenticeship program, four-year college degree or equivalent combination of technical training and/or experience.
- Minimum of four years supervisory experience in similar facility construction technology, methods, equipment, tools, and work procedures required.
- Must have safe driving record and a valid driver's license according to legal requirements.
- Valid Colorado (or reciprocal) JW license. OSHA 30 certification a plus.
- Advanced blueprint reading and interpretation experience. KEY SKILLS & COMPETENCIES
- Advanced understanding of construction scheduling, cost control and ability to control and ability to supervise ten to fifty employees is essential. JOB RESPONSIBILITIES
- Plan and supervise craft activities including method of construction, manpower levels, material quantities equipment, temporary power sources, work schedule and documenting actual hours worked.
- Coordinate assigned work with work of different crafts, company departments, or other contractors.
- Maintain liaison with engineering and planning to ensure work complies with drawings, specifications, and schedule.
- Assist in resolving construction problems (lack of productivity, work interfaces, etc.) as required.
- Assist Human Resources in maintaining communications regarding employee job site performance as well as attendance and reviews.
- Monitor craft compliance with project safety program requirements; document and ensure corrective measures are implemented.
- Maintain liaison with vendors and Inspectors to ensure all required materials, equipment, inspections, etc., support craft activities and project schedule.
- This position is required to drive.
- Perform additional assignments per supervisor's direction. COMPENSATION & BENEFITS
- $28.85 - $57.69
