Needed immediately for small animal/exotics veterinary clinic - Requirements: -Must live within 45 minutes commute of Fort Collins, Colorado and have reliable transportation and ability to make it to all shifts on time --must have at least 2 years experience in a veterinary clinic. -Minimum non-negotiable hours needed are Mon 8:30-1, Tues 7:30-1 Wed 7:30-close, Friday 8:30-close (we try to provide 1 hour lunch break if possible) as well as 1-2 Saturdays/month 8:30-1:30.MUST BE AVAILABLE FOR THESE HOURS THROUGH AT LEAST SPRING OF 2025-more hours may be available, esp if employee is flexible to fill in afternoon shifts for other employees on break, vacations, etc. Skills: - detail oriented person to join our team who can handle both client education/receptionist tasks as well as be proficient at telephone skills, working with the public, filing and running a computer practice software (experience with Cornerstone veterinary software a plus). -Employee will help assisting clinic owner with some office duties such as bill paying,etc, data entry, implementing new aspects of computer system, purging old paper files,etc. -Receptionist/client care duties will include client education on preventative care of pets, checking in and out of appointments, scheduling,etc. -Team member will also occasionally help with restraint of animals for examinations which will involve kneeling on the floor and holding large dogs in some cases, and lifting up to 40 lbs -Team member may be cross trained in some veterinary technical duties -such as operating in clinic blood and urine analyzers, restraining for blood draws, setting up fecal and urine tests, nail trims, giving subcutaneous injectio ns, minor blood draws, etc -Some cleaning of facility, surgical instruments, kennels, and other end of day dutiesare part of the position. -Employee will need to be friendly and a good communicator, able to connect with clients in a friendly, one-on-one manner -Employee must have attention to paperwork details and knowledgeable with computer software, as 90% of the job is up front customer service/telephone/scheduling duties. This is a busy practice, so ability to deal with multiple tasks is critical, as is the ability to prioritize tasks. Must be able to complete duties in a timely manner, while maintaining accuracy in details. -Hourly wage dependent on past experience and proficiency at detail, multi-tasking, etc as well as proficiency at receptionist/office duties. We believe in small town service, one-on-one friendly interaction and client education as well as excellent animal medical care for small animals and exotics.
