Job Description A hospital system in Bergen County. NJ is currently seeking a board certified or board eligible Gastroenterologist hospitalist for a full-time, hospital employed position to meet the growing needs of the community. About this Opportunity: Onsite Work Schedule: 7 on 7 off, 12 hour shifts Call Schedule: 1:4 Work Setting:100% inpatient Responsibilities: The Gastroenterologist will be responsible for: Examining & obtaining medical history and treating acute & chronic illnesses Ordering, performing, and interpreting diagnostic tests Creating treatment plans and involving patients & family members in those plans Initiating appropriate specialty referrals Collaborating on the improvement in care delivery and service with management, other Physicians and staff Working with Practice Management to ensure compliance with billing and coding requirements Performing procedures at the Endoscopy Center Rounding in the hospital 7 on 7 off Inpatient Qualifications: Licensed to practice in the State of New Jersey Board Eligible / Certified Experience in an Inpatient/Outpatient role/setting Previous experience with the Adult population More...
