Registered Nurse (RN) | Progressive Care Unit Location: San Francisco, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,714 per week Shift Information: 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 4/7/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Stepdown Cardiac Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Day/Night Rotation Hours per Shift: 12 Hours Experience: Minimum of 2 years of CV TCU/PCU experience required. License: Valid RN license required. Certifications: AHA BLS, ACLS required. Must-Have: Telemetry experience with the ability to interpret and manage dysrhythmias. Must be able to float to other facilities. Transplant experience is preferred. Description: This position requires working rotating day and night shifts with weekend commitments. Applicants must have a minimum of 2 years of experience in cardiac stepdown nursing. Candidates should have strong skills in central line care and management. Experience with tracheostomy care and management is required. The role involves close monitoring of cardiac telemetry and the management of dysrhythmias. Nurses will be responsible for administering cardiac drips and managing blood products. The position requires involvement in post-myocardial infarction care as well as pre and post-cardiac procedures. Staffing ratios in the unit are between 1:3 to 1:4 nurse to patient. Interdisciplinary support will be available from various teams, including IV teams and respiratory services. Candidates should be familiar with cardiac diagnoses and special procedures such as continuous peritoneal dialysis. Flexibility is necessary to adapt to different departments or units as needed.
