LanceSoft is seeking a travel nurse RN Wound Care for a travel nursing job in San Francisco, California. Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: Wound Care - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 40 hours per week - Shift: 8 hours, days - Employment Type: Travel Shift - Day Shift: Monday – Friday - 5 × 8-hour shifts - Time: 08:00 AM – 04:30 PM - Floating: May float to other CPMC units or facilities for wound care consults if needed. ⚕️ Responsibilities - Assess, monitor, and treat wounds, pressure ulcers, and skin integrity issues. - Perform wound care treatments and dressing changes. - Manage ostomy care (colostomy and ileostomy). - Provide pressure ulcer assessment and staging (Stage I–IV). - Use and manage wound care therapies such as: - Wound VAC therapy - Debridement procedures - Hydrocolloid, foam, and silver dressings - Evaluate risk factors affecting skin integrity (nutrition, edema, infection, etc.). - Document patient care using the Epic charting system. - Educate patients and families about: - Wound care management - Ostomy care - Skin protection and prevention. - Collaborate with physicians and interdisciplinary teams for treatment planning. - Follow infection control and isolation precautions. Basic Requirements Active California Registered Nurse License Minimum 2 years of Wound Care RN experience Previous Charge Nurse experience (required) Required Certifications BLS (Basic Life Support) – from American Heart Association WOCN (Wound, Ostomy, Continence Nurse Certification) Must also have at least one of these certifications for 2 years: CWOCN – Certified Wound Ostomy Continence Nurse CWON – Certified Wound Ostomy Nurse CWCN – Certified Wound Care Nurse Technical Skills Experience with Epic charting system (preferred) About LanceSoft Established in 2000, LanceSoft is a Certified MBE and Woman-Owned organization.
