Registered Nurse (RN) | Labor & Delivery Location: Torrance, CA Agency: Cynet Health Pay: $2,807 per week Shift Information: Nights - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: 3/30/2026 About the Position Job Title: Registered Nurse Profession: Nursing Specialty: Labor and Delivery Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Night Hours per Shift: 12 Experience: Minimum 3 years required License: Valid state license must be in hand Certifications: ACLS, AWHONN Advanced, BLS, NRP Must-Have: Precepting skills preferred Flexibility to work weekends Ability to float to mother/baby unit Description: Looking for a strong caregiver to support the PM shift. Must be flexible in working weekends. First-time travelers are accepted. Weekend requirements depend on the length of the contract. On-call requirements are not applicable. Travelers may need to float between like units. Candidates should be open to a block schedule based on manager discretion. Candidates must have preceptor skills to better adapt to pace and patient management. Ideal candidates should have experience in newborn care and baby-friendly practices. Candidates must be able to assist in setting up delivery tables and performing non-stress tests. Experience with telemetry interpretation and circulating for Cesarean sections is preferred. Providing care for low and high-risk labor patients is essential. Daily census involves a significant number of births per month. Team support includes various specialized services. Travelers are expected to adhere to floating policies across facilities within the state. All travelers must disclose any license or background issues up front during the compliance process. Must commit to working a specified number of holidays during the assignment period. References may be required to cover recent work experience.
