Job Title: Clinical Liaison Profession: RN Specialty: Inpatient Rehabilitation Duration: 13 weeks Shift: Monday through Friday with 1 weekend a month Hours per Shift: 8 hours Experience: 1-3 years License: Licensed in the state Certifications: None required Must-Have Skills/Experience: Knowledge of post-acute care Care coordination Case management Business development/marketing Description: We are seeking a Clinical Liaison to join our team in the Inpatient Rehabilitation department. This position requires working Monday through Friday, with one weekend shift per month. The weekend shift consists of 4 hours on Saturday and 4 hours on Sunday, followed by a flex day off the following Thursday. There may be local travel to neighboring facilities as the Clinical Liaison may float to cover different locations. The unit has 30 beds with a patient ratio of 5:1. Equipment includes an inpatient rehab gym and other necessary tools. The Electronic Health Record system utilized is EPIC. The patient population includes adults and geriatrics. Candidates should possess an understanding of insurance authorizations and processes. Common diagnoses treated include stroke, brain injury, and spinal cord injury. We are looking for an outgoing and assertive individual who is comfortable with marketing, building quick connections, and developing relationships. Flexibility is important as daily tasks may vary based on the unit's business needs. Education requirements include a clinical background in therapy, nursing, case management, or social work. Dress code is business casual with no specific scrub color required.
