Job Description & Requirements - Specialty: ED - Emergency Department - Discipline: RN - Start Date: 04/06/2026 - Duration: 13 weeks - 36 hours per week - Shift: 12 hours, nights - Employment Type: Travel Opportunity: RN - ER Job Details: • Work night shifts from 7:00 PM to 7:00 AM with occasional evening shifts from 3:00 PM to 3:30 AM • No guaranteed blocked schedule with every other weekend required • Maintain 4:1 patient ratio for days, nights, and weekends • Provide care for patients of all age groups including neonates, infants, pediatrics, adolescents, adults, and geriatrics • Work in 9-bed emergency department with daily census of 50 patients • 24 hours of orientation required • Required certifications: CA RN license, BLS, ACLS, PALS, NIHSS, MAB, NRP • EPIC charting system experience required • Previous travel experience required with minimum 2 years of nursing experience • Must be available for lab work within 3-5 days of signing • Previous charge experience preferred • Community hospital, LTAC, and trauma center experience preferred • Skills include trauma care, emergency medications, IV management, procedural sedation, and comprehensive emergency nursing procedures • Float and call requirements not specified Facility: This community hospital provides comprehensive emergency services with a focus on trauma care and emergency medicine.
