The center provides comprehensive oncology and hematology services with radiation oncologists present during coverage periods. The facility maintains a trauma level 3 designation and focuses on timely care for new solid tumor diagnoses. About the Facility Location Oregon offers diverse entertainment and recreational opportunities throughout the year. The region features various seasonal festivities and dining options, with activities ranging from cultural events to outdoor recreation. Visitors and residents can explore numerous attractions with guidance available for finding events by date, type, or location. About the Clinician's Workday The clinician functions as a member of the clinical patient care team performing tasks and procedures consistent with the training and licensure of a medical oncologist/hematologist. The position involves treating patients in an outpatient free-standing cancer center setting with a focus on solid tumor diagnoses seen within one week of referral. The practice demographics consist of approximately 20% hematology and 80% oncology cases, with most benign hematology cases referred elsewhere. Call responsibilities include 7 days of call with one weekend in a 1:4 rotation, and hospital rounding occurs only when patients require admission for inpatient chemotherapy.
