Radiology Tech Location: Weaverville, CA Agency: AMN Healthcare Allied Pay: $2,647 to $2,728 per week Shift Information: Days - 3 days x 12 hours Contract Duration: 13 Weeks Start Date: ASAP About the Position Job Description & Requirements Certified Radiology Technologist - (RAD Tech) StartDate: ASAP Available Shifts: 12 D Pay Rate: $2647.00 - $2728.00 Mountain Communities Healthcare District is a very small hospital in a very rural town. We have a 4 bed Emergency Room, no ICU, no trauma center. Our Radiology Dept. services our Emergency Room, our 10 bed Medical/Surgical floor and our out patient needs. We only schedule staff on day shift Monday through Friday. However, we need someone that can share on call responsibilities with our other two Radiologic Technologist on evenings and weekends. · Understands and performs the duties of a Radiologic Technologist 3, 12's with shared evening and weekend call · Understands the complexities of imaging equipment in all modalities, i.e., radiology and CT · Ability to demonstrate the knowledge and skill necessary to provide care based on physical, psychosocial, educational and safety related criteria, appropriate to the age of the patient served · Demonstrates knowledge of positioning patients for optimal results Graduate of a Accredited Radiology Program, with Associate of Science Degree b) Current California Certified Radiologic Technologist Licensure (CRT) c) American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT) preferred d) Two years experience in an Acute Care setting is preferred e) Experience in at least two modalities f) Experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility may be substituted for Acute Care experience g) BLS Certification required Required Qualifications Certified Radiology Technologist, Radiology Experience: 2 years Licenses: RAD-CA Certifications: R-American Registry of Radiologic Technologists; BLS-AHA SSN Required DOB Required References: 1 Reference in entire work history Graduate of a Accredited Radiology Program, with Associate of Science Degree e) Experience in at least two modalities f) Experience in a freestanding diagnostic imaging facility may be substituted for Acute Care experience Preferred Qualifications none Job Benefits Allied travel assignments are typically for 13 weeks and offer generous packages that include: Competitive pay rates Medical, Dental, Vision 401(k) and Flex Spending Life Insurance Accident and Short-term Disability Coverage Free Continuing Education Competitive Housing Deal Refer a friend and earn extra cash!
