Pay Information $3,142 per week About The Position Job Title: Outpatient Wound Care Registered Nurse Profession: Registered Nurse Specialty: Outpatient Wound Care Duration: 13 Weeks Shift: Days, Monday to Friday Hours per Shift: 8 Hours Experience: Minimum 2 years of experience required License: Valid Registered Nurse License required Certifications: BLS, Stoma placement required. Wound care certification preferred. Must-Have: Wound care experience with cleaning wounds, dressing removal, wound vacs, new patient consults, skin substitutes, and complicated dressing changes. Extensive wound care background if no wound care certification. Experience with Cerner and WoundDocs or Wound Expert EMR system preferred. Description: This position is for an outpatient wound care registered nurse. The nurse will manage a caseload of 50-80 patients per day. Daily documentation in each patient chart is required. The department is closed on weekends and holidays. There are no call or standby requirements. When not providing patient care, the nurse will perform weekly follow-ups and consults as required. Patients may present with various wound diagnoses needing specialized care. The role includes complicated dressing changes and wound management. The nurse will collaborate with a team to ensure optimal patient outcomes.
