Drug Hunter subscribers include many of the world's leading innovative biotechnology and pharmaceutical companies and top-tier investors.Location: Remote position based in the US, ideally in a biotech hub such as Boston, San Diego, or the San Francisco Bay areaSummary: The ideal candidate will possess an outstanding background in medicinal chemistry, or a related field and will be passionate about communicating scientific research. Responsibilities include creating engaging scientific content, delivering client-facing Drug Hunter demos, and contributing to product development through customer engagement and feedback.Key Responsibilities: - Industry Research and Analysis:
- Stay on top of the latest trends in the pharma and biotech industry and represent Drug Hunter as a thought leader in drug discovery
- Synthesize information from multiple sources into compelling communications
- Suggest and help implement new features based on industry feedback
- Content Development and Distribution:
- Prepare articles based on webinars, interviews, and recordings
- Prepare educational content for Drug Hunter members such as cheat sheets, calculators, posters, and directories
- Prepare social media posts on Drug Hunter content including articles, events, and webinars
- Develop video content for educational and marketing purposes
- Prepare content for different newsletter formats
- Develop materials to support Drug Hunter presentations such as webinars, site visits, demos, and articles
- Industry Relations:
- Provide technical demos of the Drug Hunter platform to prospects and existing Drug Hunter members
- Contribute to the organization of virtual and in-person events such as webinars, dinners, mixers, symposia, and workshops
- Attend conferences and capture compelling scientific highlights
- Attend internal and external webinars and create scientific content of high value from virtual events
- Customer Success and Training:
- Assist Drug Hunter members in fully utilizing tools and resources effectively to ensure renewal
- Develop and deliver training materials and workshops to enhance the user experience of Drug Hunter members
- Collaboration and Communication:
- Work closely with the editorial, marketing, business development, sales, and product teams to ensure consistent messaging and highest quality content
- Engage with the scientific community through social media, forums, events, conferences and other communication channelsRequirements:
- Ph.D. in chemistry, pharmacology, biochemistry, or a related field
- 5+ years of experience in drug discovery or a related field, ideally in the biotech or pharmaceutical industries
- Strong understanding of medicinal chemistry, pharmacology, and industry trends.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills, with the ability to convey complex scientific concepts to diverse audiences
- Digitally native, comfortable with social media, software, databases, literature search tools, and new technologies and platforms, and eager to apply new best practices to a growing organization
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in an extremely fast-paced, dynamic environment.
- Ability to meet strict deadlinesPreferred Qualifications:

- Established network within the pharmaceutical and biotechnology industries
- Experience with scientific content creation and data analysis
