Immediate need for an OR RN for a 13 week assignment



Day Shift: Must Be Flexible with a.m. shift start times (12 hour shift)



Position Title: Operating Room RN,



Summary: ? The Operating Room RN, position is responsible to the routine functioning of the unit on his/her assignment shift. ? Registered Nurse is responsible for assessing, planning, implementing, and coordinating patient care from admission to discharge.



Responsibilities include: ? Assisting with the achievement of patient outcomes with the mission of the facility. ?



Position Supervises: Surgical Technicians, Surgery Attendants, Central Supply Technicians and Purchasing Clerk. Position Requirements: ?



Must have at least 5 years OR experience, Current CA RN Licensure, BCLS, ACLS certificate. CNOR preferred.



Job Knowledge: ? Assesses, plans, evaluates and ensures the implementation of the patient's care to achieve identified outcomes. ? Assumes a leadership role in the provision of quality nursing care for patients receiving care. ? Demonstrates continued competence in assessing, treating, and caring for individuals based upon age-specific needs utilizing a developmental perspective. ? Demonstrates appropriate knowledge and competence of designated skills identified for position. ? Supervises the smooth functioning of the assigned shift.
