Some responsibilities of an RN Case Manager include: assessing, planning, implementing, coordinating and monitoring and evaluating the options and services needed to meet the member?s health needs across the care continuum and provides quality cost-effective outcomes. Will provide case management activities across the continuum and provides quality cost-effective outcomes and assists in the development. Screening for appropriateness, verifying eligibility, interpretation of benefits and medical necessity, obtaining additional information and researching issues to facilitate objective medical management decisions based upon approved health care facility criteria, standards and guidelines.
