The Credentialing Specialist is responsible for performing a variety of tasks related to credentialing physicians and other providers to ensure that the organization is able to accurately and efficiently bill for services in compliance with all governmental and health plan requirements. Responsibilities include maintaining the database of all physicians & providers, assuring completion of credentialing packages, submitting applications to appropriate agencies, contract supervision, CME tracking and other related functions.



This is an extremely fast-paced position where deadlines are tight and must be met, so organizational skills must be top-notch in order to be successful.



Candidate must possess advanced knowledge and experience with Medicare, Medi-Cal Products, Workers Compensation, and all other Health Plans and Medical Groups.

Candidate must possess advanced knowledge with Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook and Publisher.

Experience using VMS

Organizational skills and ability to communicate effectively both orally and in writing are required.

Ability to function well within a team and independently.



Combination of education and experience that would likely provide required knowledge, skills and abilities as well as possession of any required licenses or certifications is qualifying.
