With a steadfast commitment to advancing medical technology, we take immense pride in the work we do - and have a lot of fun doing it.About this Opportunity:The Supply Chain Planner II is responsible for managing the release and execution of work orders within an assigned MRP planner code while resolving supply/demand imbalances and addressing production flow challenges. This role requires a hands-on approach to ensure efficient work order execution and involves capacity management and problem-solving across multiple departments. The Planner II collaborates closely with procurement, production, and logistics teams to maintain alignment between customer demand and supply capabilities.Responsibilities: - Oversee the timely release and management of work orders, ensuring alignment with the MRP system to meet production and delivery targets.
- Prioritize, track, and execute work orders efficiently to maintain production flow and customer satisfaction.
- Address supply shortages, excess demand, and schedule fluctuations by proactively troubleshooting MRP outputs.
- Implement solutions to minimize disruptions in production and delivery schedules.
- Manage production capacity at the equipment level, optimizing resource utilization through level-loading strategies and a frozen schedule.
- Balance competing priorities and resource limitations to ensure optimal production scheduling and on-time delivery.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including procurement, production, and logistics, to resolve supply chain bottlenecks and delays.
- Support corrective action investigations to address root causes of delivery issues, ensuring sustained improvements in performance.
- Maintain a strong focus on customer delivery commitments by aligning supply chain operations with production plans and resolving issues that could impact delivery.Requirements / Skills:
