Job Summary: The Senior ISSO plays a crucial role in maintaining and securing the organization's information systems by implementing and managing security measures. This position supports a multi-year contract at our customer site in Annapolis Junction, MD, focusing on the development and deployment of large collection systems. Responsibilities Include: Provides aid to the program, organization, system, or enclave's information assurance program. Assists with proposing, coordinating, implementing, and enforcing security policies and standards. Maintains operational security posture to ensure policies and procedures are followed. Supports security management and performs daily security operations. Evaluates security solutions for compliance with processing classified information. Performs vulnerability and risk assessments for certification and accreditation. Provides configuration management for security software, hardware, and firmware. Manages system changes and assesses security impacts. Prepares and reviews documentation such as SSPs, Risk Reports, C&A packages, and SRTMs. Supports security authorization activities in line with NISCAP and DoD RMF. Basic Qualifications: |
