The successful candidate will have good software, hardware, and gaming/graphics industry knowledge of what it takes to build great gaming devices. The position requires external technical account and relationship management with strong interpersonal and communication skills. The role will also involve strong business, finance, and marketing skills necessary for influencing and delivering successful partner products.Principal Duties: - Partner - Learn and Influence: Interacts with game industry partners like OEMs, ISVs, OS vendors, etc. to understand their products/roadmaps/pricing strategies. Influences and aligns partner roadmaps with Qualcomm's goals.
- Strategize & Plan: Defines a comprehensive internal technology and GTM strategy that includes roadmap, pricing, and plan. Collaborates with key external partners to define key goals and success criteria for each partner project (e.g. milestones, performance, cost, schedules, risks, priorities).
- Delivery: Working with global product, engineering, program, finance, marketing, sales, and BD stakeholders to execute on individual partner roadmap creating a strong business impact.
- GTM & Launch: Drives partner product GTM and launch strategies through co-marketing opportunities such as industry conferences, press/media, and ensures successful partner product launch.
- Communicate: Prepares and delivers highly complex and high-stakes technical and business presentations to a variety of internal and external audiences regarding product roadmaps that explain and demonstrate products to customers and integrates customer feedback into project roadmaps.Level of Responsibility:
- Working independently on complex tasks with little to no supervision.
- Regularly meets and influences executives from partner organizations.
- Making business, technology, and finance decisions in a complex global organization where a high level of ambiguity exists.
- Using verbal and written communication skills to convey complex and/or detailed information to multiple individuals/audiences with differing knowledge levels. Role may require strong negotiation and influence, communication to large groups or high-level constituents.
- Some financial accountabilities (e.g. manages accounting and budget, has an input into P&L).
- Regularly prioritizes and determines what needs to be done and is involved with sharing innovative solutions to achieve broad policies and objectives.Preferred Qualifications:
- 6+ years of technology partnerships/product/program management experience.
- MBA or relevant business experience in finance, forecasting, accounting, marketing.
- Experience managing global partners with complex technology and business implications.
- Engineering background or relevant knowledge of:
- Gaming consoles and handheld
- Hardware: GPU, CPU, Memory, Display, Sensor technologies, power and thermals
- Software: Android, Windows, Linux
- Experience managing, influencing, negotiating with external partners.
- Experience working with forecasting, revenue, and/or project financials.Minimum Qualifications:
