  TRA is Tenet's in-house nationwide contingent pool for Nursing and Allied travel and local contracts. Receive a greater level of Contract security compared to with an outside agency.
  
  TRA Certified Surgical Technician s responsible for aseptic technique in OR, setting up the required equipment, instrumentationand sterile supplies as needed for their assigned cases; scrubbing and passing instruments and equipment during surgicalprocedures; pulling cases as needed, breaking down cases at the end of the procedure, sets up operating room and suppliesneeded for day/following day's schedule. Available for call on an assigned/ scheduled basis as required by unit need. Performother duties as assigned

  Minimum EducationGraduate of an Accredited Allied Health Education Program
  
  Preferred EducationAssociates Degree
  
  Minimum ExperienceOne year in a Clinical Setting
  
  Required Certification/Licensure- Certification as a Surgical Technologist- BLS - American Heart Association
  
  Preferred Certification - Certification through the National Board of Surgical Technology and Surgical Assisting
