The Maintenance Mechanic plays a crucial role in ensuring the smooth operation of facilities and production equipment. This position is responsible for: Troubleshooting and Diagnostics: Identifying mechanical, electrical, and hydraulic issues in equipment and facilities, using diagnostic tools and techniques. Preventive Maintenance: Performing routine inspections and preventive maintenance tasks to ensure equipment operates efficiently and to minimize downtime. Repairs and Modifications: Conducting repairs on machinery and equipment, as well as making modifications or upgrades to enhance performance and safety. Compliance and Safety: Adhering to all safety regulations, company policies, and industry standards, including GMPs and SOPs, to ensure a safe working environment. Documentation: Keeping accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and inspections to track equipment performance and compliance. Collaboration: Working closely with production teams and other maintenance staff to address equipment issues promptly and support production goals. Training and Development: Continuously updating skills and knowledge related to new technologies, equipment, and maintenance practices. JOB TYPE: - Full-time
- COMPENSATION:
- Pay range $34.70 per hour.
- Swing and graveyard wage differentials.

- Weekends QUALIFICATIONS:
- Education:
- High school diploma, vocational training, or a related field is preferred.
- Certifications or experience in HVAC, refrigeration, desired but not required.
- Experience:
- 2-3 years of experience in facility and production maintenance environment.
- Experience with boilers, chillers, & refrigeration systems desired but not required.
- Technical Skills:
- Experience with conveyor systems, including, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Knowledge of case erecting and folding systems, including operation and repair.
- Safety Knowledge:
- Commitment to maintaining a safe work environment and compliance with OSHA standards. (LOTO) Lock Out tag out Arc Flash Desired.
- Problem-Solving Abilities:
- Strong analytical skills to diagnose issues related to electro/mechanical systems and perform root cause analysis on equipment failures.
- Physical Requirements:
- Ability to lift heavy objects up to 50Lbs, work in confined spaces, and perform physical tasks.
- Communication Skills:
- Effective verbal and written communication skills
- Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
- Tools and Equipment:
- Own basic hand tool and be proficient with power tools, and diagnostic equipment.
- Ability to navigate through a computer and MS Office.
- Familiarity with (CMMS), MVP is a plus.
- Attention to Detail:
- Strong attention to detail in completing tasks and documenting maintenance.
- Ability to prioritize tasks effectively and manage time efficiently.
- Teamwork and Collaboration:
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
