DescriptionAs a hands-on Sales Engineer, you will play a crucial role in driving sales by evangelizing, positioning, and architecting secure solutions for our clients. Leveraging Conversant Group's secure-first approach, you will design and configure hardware, software, and services. This role involves both pre-sales activities, working closely with the sales team, and post-sales collaboration with our implementation and managed services teams to ensure seamless delivery of secure solutions.Key Responsibilities - Serve as the technical expert on Conversant Group's Technical Directives.
- Maintain deep product knowledge of Conversant Group's recommended solutions.
- Possess competitive knowledge of alternative solutions, enabling you to articulate the risks associated with non-Conversant Group offerings.
- Partner with the account team to develop solutions that meet client technical and business requirements.
- Collaborate with account team members to manage, support, and prioritize sales opportunities.
- Lead the discovery, analysis, design, and refinement of fully integrated, secure technology solutions.
- Own the technical relationship with the customer.
- Be accountable for achieving the technical win.
- Participate in post-sales technical implementation calls with clients and Conversant Group's delivery teams.
- Develop technical and functional specifications, including Statements of Work (SOWs), Letters of Engagement (LOEs), and proposed architecture designs.
- Collaborate with the account team and external vendors to create and review Bills of Materials (BOMs).
- Work closely with the PMO and Implementation teams to communicate the solution vision and ensure successful delivery.Qualifications, Requirements, and Preferred Skills
- Minimum of 5 years of pre-sales experience in a related industry. Preferred experience in one or more of the following areas:
