Anticipated Start Date: May 1, 2025 Job description: We are seeking Adjunct Faculty to create a Course Outline of Record (COR) for a Nursing Assistant course and the Program Narrative to be submitted to the State Chancellor's Office. The selected candidate will be compensated for up to 5 hours per new course COR and up to 5 hours for the creation of the Program Narrative based on the appropriate Adjunct Faculty rate. MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS Minimum qualifications for this posting can be met in any of the following ways: bachelor's degree or higher AND two years of professional experience closely related to the area of assignment; OR any associate degree AND six years of professional experience closely related to the area of assignment; OR An Equivalency Determination may be submitted along with all application materials to be considered for this position if you do not meet the stated minimum qualifications. The Equivalency Determination document may be found on the Taft College Human Resources website. AND Demonstrated sensitivity to and understanding of the diverse academic, socioeconomic, cultural, disability and ethnic backgrounds of community college students. DESIRED QUALIFICATIONS: Two years of nursing experience as an RN and/or LVN Experience as a Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) COMPENSATION: $77.02-$90.50 per hour. REQUIRED MATERIALS FOR APPLICATION: Letter of Introduction describing how you meet the minimum and desired qualifications. A current Resume Complete transcripts of all college/university coursework (unofficial transcript is acceptable). Copy of your current RN License issued by the BRN or LVN License. FOREIGN TRANSCRIPTS Transcripts issued outside the United States of America require a course-by-course analysis with an equivalency statement from a certified transcript evaluation service verifying the degree equivalency to that of an accredited institution within the USA.
