Duties:

?Assist with month-end financial statement review and analysis, including variance explanations, review and approval of expense accruals and billing/revenue reconciliations.

?Review AP invoices and expense reports as outlined in approved AP approval hierarchy and follow-up with accounting staff on any noted variances.

?Oversee the AP process

?Oversee the month end close process (e.g. booking journal entries, analyzing accruals. financial statement analysis, variance Analysis)

?Ability to create trend reports/analysis for forecasting

?Manage the GL accounting surrounding fixed assets and prepaid expenses, including ensuring proper compliance with all fixed asset controls and policies.

?Assist with the implementation and enforcement of internal controls across the organization.

?Ad hoc projects/reports

?Completes all special projects and other duties as assigned.

?Completes all responsibilities as outlined on annual Performance Plan.

?Must be able to perform duties with or without reasonable accommodation.



Skills

?High proficiency with Microsoft Office products required (Excel in particular); prior experience working in a general ledger systems such as PeopleSoft also required; understanding of GAAP accounting and financial reporting; experience reading and reviewing contracts a plus.
