We are currently seeking a solution-oriented and customer-focused I.T. Desktop Support Technician to support end-users throughout the Americas trading bloc. - Be the go-to resource for IT Specialists, handling all end-user technical support requests.
- Identify, research, isolate, and resolve information system-related problems.
- Hardware and Software Troubleshooting:
- Troubleshoot and repair hardware and software issues on end-user computer workstations and peripherals.
- System Configuration and Installation:
- Build, configure, troubleshoot, repair, maintain, and install hardware, operating systems, and application software.
- Ensure seamless data-communication equipment setup.
- Business Process Improvement:
- Review and analyze business requirements and problems, providing valuable recommendations for process enhancements.
- System Management and Compliance:
- Perform analytical, technical, and administrative tasks during system installations and expansions.
- Execute activities related to governmental compliance, including auditing and process documentation.
- Knowledge Management:
- Maintain internal information, records of systems and licenses, troubleshooting techniques, and recurring issues.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and technologies.
- Training and Guidance:
- Provide end-user training and guidance within the scope of your role.What You'll Bring To The Role
- 1 to 3 years of professional end-user support which may include PC and/or peripherals, business/data communications, local and remote end-user support as well as building, configuring, and installing applications, operating systems, and Microsoft Office 365 administration and configuration.
- Completion of high school diploma, GED or equivalent.
- Current Technical Certification(s) preferred.
- Associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
- Ability to provide exceptional customer service in a fast-paced environment.
- Must be able to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Strong communication and presentation skills.
- Experience working in a collaborative, diverse team environment.Total Rewards$23 - $29 / year includes base salary plus 10% - 15% profit-sharing contribution to your retirement account. Salary is determined by multiple factors including but not limited to relevant experience, knowledge, skills, other job-related qualifications, and alignment with market data.
