External: External applicants will be considered on the sixth (6) business day of the posting period.Position InformationTitle: Visiting Clinical Professor, Audiology (Temporary Employee Pool)Department: AudiologyPosting Number: F00844Full or Part Time: Part TimeOpen Date: 12/22/2023Close Date: Open Until FilledPosition DescriptionThe School of Health Sciences at the University of the Pacific invites applications for a part-time, non-tenure track position as a Course Instructor/Clinical supervisor in the Department of Audiology.Responsibilities include:

Provide instruction for a total of three to twenty (3-20) hours per week (depending on your course/contract).
Supervision of two (2) student clinicians per hour, occasionally supervising three (3) student clinicians per hour.
Provide each student clinician with a minimum of twenty-five percent (25%) direct supervision or more to meet their needs.
Complete semester supervision log to document supervision time for accreditation requirements by the last day of the semester.
Provide written feedback towards clinical reports and observational assignments.Clinical appointments are made upon the recommendation of the department faculty where appropriate to an academic program. The clinical appointment is non-tenure track.All non-tenure-track faculty members collaborate in fulfilling the University's mission to provide a superior, student-centered learning experience integrating liberal arts and professional education.Minimum Qualifications:
- An AuD or Ph.D. degree with relevant background to the course being taught.
- A minimum of three (3) years of relevant experience in a professional environment working with clinical populations.Preferred Qualifications:
  - Ability to communicate effectively through oral and written modalities.
  - Experience and sensitivity in working with people of diverse backgrounds and cultures.
  - Demonstrated experience in advancing social justice, equity, and inclusion in a university setting.
