Level: Hourly (25-29 hours) - $16.50 per hourStatus: Part-TimeIssue/Revision Date: April 2, 2024General Functions:The 2nd - 3rd Grade Ministry Director executes the service experience for the 2nd - 3rd grade students, as well as overseeing the designated areas and volunteers.Supervision Received:Reports directly to the Children's Ministry Pastor. The employee must seek authorization for a broad scope of tasks.Scope & Dimensions:Interacts with all staff, volunteers, and children to create a relevant, fun, and engaging experience for the 2nd - 3rd grade students. - Manage assigned ministry rooms and volunteers during our service experiences on Thursdays and Sundays.
- Leadership: recruit, train, and lead ministry volunteers (small group leaders, teachers, tech leaders, etc.).
- Discipleship: provide care for volunteers and families within the 2nd - 3rd Grade Ministry.
- Create, edit, and prepare the necessary curriculum for the 2nd - 3rd Grade Ministry.
- Purchase and prepare the necessary elements and supplies for weekly services and small group activities.
- Complete the assigned administrative tasks and weekly ministry requirements (volunteers scheduling, volunteer assimilation, etc.).
- Ensure all Eastlake Kids Ministry Policies and Procedures are followed.
- Assist with designated EastLake Kids Ministry events.
- Attend designated weekly ministry and staff meetings.
- Assist the Children's Ministry Pastor with assigned responsibilities.Experience And Educational Requirements:
- Technical Skills: Google Documents/Spread Sheets, Power Point, Canva, and Google Calendar.
- General audio/visual knowledge.
- Two years of experience in a related environment preferred.Additional Responsibilities:
- Additional duties as assigned.Working Conditions/Physical Requirements:
- Mobile - In and out of office to ensure task completion.
- Overtime hours as required by ministry needs.
- Church staff is required to abide by the Cultural Expectations (tithe, attendance, conduct, etc.).Terms of Employment:
