Description:New Grads NP's are welcome to apply. We are looking for a Full Time Nurse Practitioner Telehealth that is able to work 5 shifts per week which includes 3-4 weekend shifts per month. - Opportunities for professional growth and advancement.Job Summary:The Nurse Practitioner Telehealth will be overseeing patient-care operations, monitoring, identifying and implementing quality improvements.
Job Class and Reports To:The Nurse Practitioner Telehealth position will be a full time, non-exempt position that reports to the Director of Nursing and Chief Medical Officer at Hydration Room. Duties/ Responsibilities: - Provide initial good faith exams for first time patients via phone/telehealth appointments.
- Remotely triage and treat patients via our online chat-based platform, including: proactively providing medical and wellness education, treating patients via our online chat-based telemedicine platform, recommending suitable treatment plans and assisting in care coordination and onsite visit planning for wellness member visits.
- Give and receive regular feedback on individual member cases.
- Provide a positive member experience in telemedicine interactions, including quality of care recommended and tone/messaging with which care is delivered.
- Function as day-to-day clinical provider, providing decision support, directing the multidisciplinary team.
- Coordinate with the medical team across the continuum of care including the Director of Nursing, District Nurse Managers, RNs, and doctor.
- Participate in the provider schedule to provide coverage for our 7 day a week clinic schedule. This will require weekend availability on a recurring basis.
- Perform other related duties as assigned and required.
- Expected to work 3-4 weekend shifts a month depending on the hire agreement.
- Will need to travel to clinics within the Southern California area for training - 15% of travel.
- Demonstrate evidence of integrity with ability to maintain confidentiality and exercise sound judgement to positively influence employees at all levels.Requirements:Required Skills/Abilities:
- Excellent team management skills.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- In-depth knowledge of IV clinic procedures and services offered.
- Proficient in patient charting systems, scheduling systems, Microsoft Office, or related software.
- Excellent organizational skills and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent customer service skills.Education and Experience:
- DEA and NPI Certification REQUIRED
- Certified Nurse Practitioner license
- BLS required, ACLS preferred.Physical Requirements:
