A Southern California Medical Center is actively seeking a Nurse Director Critical Care Services to join their growing healthcare organization.The Critical Care Service Line Nurse Director will report to the Chief Nursing Officer, and will be supported by 3 Nurse Manager and will have oversight of 100 FTE's.The Nurse Director of Critical Care and Cardiovascular Services will be responsible for leading and directing all care and services provided within the 20 bed ICU, and the 25 bed Critical Care Step Down, -The Critical Care Service Line Nursing Director will ensure that safe patient care is provided. The ICU Department Nurse Director will work with program development, service improvement and promotion; oversee the activities in the development of department staff.The Nurse Director Critical Care will assume fiscal responsibility for the unit budgets serves as a liaison with medical staff and other personnel, promotes the maximum growth and development of each employee, supports nursing research and assures patient advocacy. The Critical Care Nurse Director will work with Managers of Critical Care, Trauma, Medical Surgical and Emergency maintaining a premium level of patient care as they move throughout the hospital.The Medical Center is focused on providing the highest level of patient care services and is seeking a Nurse Director with the same goals.
