Job Title: Data Architect Job ID: 2639603 Position Type: Full-time Location: San Jose, California, USA (Onsite) Role/Responsibilities Key Skills Data warehouse modeling experience in enterprise data domains such as HR operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing Good understanding of data management principles such as data governance, data security, data quality Experience with SQL or equivalent database querying language Must Have GCP (Google Cloud Platform) Experience Detailed JD Data warehouse modeling experience in enterprise data domains such as HR operations, Finance, Sales and Marketing Good understanding of data management principles such as data governance, data security, data quality Responsibilities Work with Product Owner/Business Analysts to understand functional requirements, interpret complex business requirements, translate into meaningful data requirements and interact with other cross-functional teams to architect & deliver data solutions Initiates, leads, and performs in-depth analysis and provides recommendations on data architecture to support complex business problems. Design data models - Conceptual, Logical and collaborate with Data Engineers on the data model, its maintenance and optimization, and end-to-end data-driven integration strategy Participate in developing the future state data architecture standards, guidelines, and principles Qualifications Minimum qualifications: 5 or more years of experience in Data architecture and data modeling Strong domain expertise in functional areas like Finance, Risks, HR, Supply Chain etc Experience with SQL or equivalent database querying language Working knowledge of relational databases, including MySQL, and large-scale distributed systems Analytical skills with the experience identifying, quantifying, and effectively raising business risks associated with data quality or non-compliance Strong communication and collaboration skills with capability to execute with business stakeholders. Compensation and Benefits A candidate's pay within the range will depend on their work location, skills, experience, education, and other factors permitted by law.
