We're growing - and we're looking for a Director of Operations to lead our California division. What You'll Do As Director of Operations, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day leadership of all hazardous waste and remediation projects in the region. You'll manage people, projects, compliance, and profitability - while building a culture of safety, accountability, and excellence. Key Responsibilities: - Lead all operational activities for hazardous waste, site remediation, and emergency response projects. - Oversee project performance, budgets, and resource planning to meet financial goals. - Visit job sites to support field staff and enforce safety, quality, and client satisfaction standards. - Build and maintain strong relationships with clients, vendors, and regulatory agencies. - Support the sales team with technical expertise and participate in strategic planning. - Recruit, train, and mentor operational staff, promoting a high-performing and safety-focused team culture. - Collaborate with our East Coast division to align operations and share resources as needed. - Travel to our Pennsylvania headquarters 5-8 times per year for leadership meetings and training.
