  • Bilingual stipend of $2,000-$4,000 for application positions.

  • Employee Referral ProgramESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each essential duty satisfactorily.     • Mentor consumers, ages 16-25, by acting as a positive role model in areas such as healthy relationships, communication and problem solving skills
    • Serve as a peer representative and advocate for the needs of consumers
    • Link consumers to appropriate community resources and services
    • Demonstrate a willingness to share relevant personal experiences in efforts to empower consumers
    • Assist with greeting consumers that enter the Peer Resource Center to ensure a safe and welcoming environment
    • Facilitate specific peer-led programming and activities
    • Provide leadership and guidance within the Youth Advisory Council
    • Facilitate the intake process for new consumers as needed
    • Provide assistance with daily sign-in and documentation policies
    • Document and input consumer information and data into ETO software
    • Attend and participate in a weekly Peer Resource Center staff meeting and individual supervision meetings
    • Participate in other required meetings, trainings and staff retreats
    • Assist with special events and activities within the Peer Resource Center as required
    • Assist with planning, preparation and disbursement of food to consumers
    • Uphold the values of the Peer Resource Center and assist in maintaining these values by consumers
    • Demonstrate a willingness to work flexible hours
    • Develop and maintain accurate consumer records and participate in development of needs/strengths assessment and plan of care
    • Other duties as requiredEDUCATION, EXPERIENCE & CERTIFICATES
      • Personal experience with stable and successful independent adult living is a plus
      • Associate's Degree, college credits in Psychology, Child Development, or a related field, and/or a year of experience working in the field of social services.
      • Must demonstrate a willingness to share and disclose, as appropriate, their personal story as a means to motivate and guide clients in their personal journey
      • Must have a high school diploma or GED
