Join our mission to help everyone live a longer, happier, healthier life as a Registered Nurse in our Endoscopy department. You will be responsible for planning, implementing, and evaluating nursing care in patient care situations using standards of care and policy and procedure. Additionally, you will provide direct nursing care to patients, assume teaching and leadership responsibilities, and participate in unit committee and quality improvement activities. Minimal supervision is required. Qualified candidates must have a valid Florida RN or APRN license, Basic Life Support and Advanced Life Support certifications, and intermediate computer knowledge. You will work full time with a 10 hour day work schedule at our North Naples location.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
• Locate and document medical and nursing patient care information in the electronic or paper medical record
• Perform thorough admission assessment, utilize appropriate interview techniques, and prioritize assessment/reassessments as patient condition warrants
• Identify and prioritize patient needs while evaluating data and evaluate outcomes of care to determine if patient needs were met
• Initiate and coordinate patient/family teaching using individualized effective teaching methods
• Serve as preceptor and/or mentor to new employees and students
• Adhere to infection control policies regarding sterilization/disinfection
