We're looking for an experienced Security Engineer to join Snap as a member of the Corporate Security Engineering team. Working from our Santa Monica or Palo Alto offices, you'll collaborate with engineers from many disciplines to design and implement secure corporate infrastructure for our company. - What you'll do:
- Design, develop systems and tools to improve the security properties of Snap's Corporate Identity, DLP, - Device Hardening, SaaS security, and Zero Trust.
- Plan, develop, execute security strategy and policies for Snap in-house built services and SaaS applications used to run the Snap business.
- Operate as a technical lead mentoring staff and leading the highest complexity projects our team executes on. -
- Review and provide principled architectural guidance for infrastructure systems, account lifecycle, fleet management and automation.
- Execute and improve security reviews and consulting processes with runbooks and automation.
- Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
- Proven impact in four or more of the following Corpsec domains: Beyond Corp, Corporate Identity, Endpoint Security, Data Loss Prevention, Device Trust, SaaS Security, Zero Trust.
- Strong development skills in Python, Golang or Java.
- Expertise in threat modeling risks to corporate infrastructure and driving the implementation of preventative controls and in partnership with our Detection and Response organization, detective controls. -
- Advanced knowledge of operating system internals, and a core competency in four or more of the following: Identity and Access, Infrastructure Hardening (macOS, Windows, Linux, ChromeOS), Saas Security and Assurance and validation
- Ability to collaborate with internal and external stakeholders at all levels of the company whilst prioritizing tasks and work independently under minimal supervision.
- Minimum Qualifications: -
- Bachelor of Science in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or equivalent years of experience in a related technical field
- 11+ years of experience as a Corpsec focused Security Engineer
- Proven impact in four or more of the following domains: - Beyond Corp, Corporate Identity, Endpoint Security, Data Loss Prevention, Device Trust, SaaS Security, Zero Trust.
- Ability and desire to mentor staff and lead a large portion of our Corporate Security roadmap. -
- Software engineering proficiency building automation in a language such as Python, Golang or Java.
- Core engineering competency in three or more of the following: macOS, Linux, Windows, Google Workspace, Okta. -
