Modesto/Turlock area (Delhi, CA) New Senior Project Engineer Search- Low Cost of Living Modesto Area Mid-High $100K's (base + bonus) I am reaching out to you today for your help and because of your expertise. Our client is an industry leading $2B+ food manufacturing organization has been continuously ranked as one of the top 200 largest privately held companies by Forbes. They have an extensive national footprint, providing brand recognizable products to every major North American grocery chain, while continuing to grow their foodservice offerings. Our client has asked us to help identify a Senior Project Engineer responsible for spearheading large capital projects across their manufacturing network. They are committed to hiring the best of the best and have not to disqualify candidates due to compensation. Targeted total compensation package will likely be in the low to mid-high 100K's range (base + bonus). The role will be based in the Modesto/Turlock, CA area(relocation assistance provided). This is a succession planning hire; they are looking for someone capable of promotion to within the first 36-48 months. Essential Functions:
Key leader from project inception through funding and execution and will collaborate through all project phases with cross-functional teams at the facility and/or the corporate office such as safety, operations, finance, food safety and quality assurance including technical services, maintenance, engineering, and environmental services.
Determine project scope and process details while organizing the appropriate resources and managing the design effort.
Lead the bidding process to select contractors and equipment vendors which will provide the best value and quality with the demonstrated ability to deliver on schedule and on budget.
Generate and select specifications, coordinate procurement activities, and make fact-based decisions during execution to achieve the project deliverables regarding production throughput, product quality/specification adherence, functionality, budget control and schedule.
Develop equipment/facilities layouts for ongoing capital project s needs. Provide and or collaborate with designers on detailed equipment designs for capital projects. More...
