The Maintenance Technician will perform general maintenance and repairs for residential and commercial properties.MAJOR JOB DUTIES: To perform this job successfully, an individual must be able to perform each major duty satisfactorily. Reasonable accommodations may be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions. - PLUMBING: Replace/repair garbage disposers, plumbing fixtures, toilets, and shut-off valves/hoses.
- ELECTRICAL: Light electrical repairs; install/replace/repair light fixtures, outlets, GFCI, fans, electric heaters, smoke/CO detectors, fuses, breakers, and troubleshoot issues.
- GENERAL: Drywall repair/patch/paint, woodwork/doors, locksets, thresholds, windows, and window treatments/blinds, appliances. New drywall installation skills are a plus. Vinyl/tile flooring repair/installation preferred.
- OTHER: Remove graffiti, haul/remove unwanted items, attend inspections, janitorial work as needed.
- Respond to emergency calls, after-hours, and weekends as needed.MINIMUM EXPERIENCE AND SKILLS:
