The Accountant will play a key role in financial management, ensuring accurate and timely reporting, compliance with accounting standards, and supporting overall financial objectives.*Responsibilities and Essentials** Ensure timely and accurate month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing through the preparation and review of ledgers and journal entries* Prepare and validate invoices to customers* Work with operations and quality functions to validate proper receipt and buy-off of goods received for A/P processing* Perform monthly accounting analysis and reconciliation of all balance sheet accounts* Collaborate and work closely with key contacts in other departments to resolve reconciling differences and unrecorded transactions* Coordinate and complete internal and external accounting audits to include preparing schedules, and providing supporting data and explanations.* Create a wide variety of ad hoc reports* Perform other related duties as required or assigned.*Requirements** Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration or related field* 5-7 years of experience in Accounting or Finance, ideally in an aerospace manufacturing setting* Solid understanding of accounting principles, methods, and general ledger functions in accordance with GAAP* Knowledge of Cost Accounting Standards (CAS)* Strong Excel and computer skills; comfortable with multiple tools, programs and platforms* Experience with ERP Job Boss a plus* Excellent communication skills; ability to summarize business results in a manner tailored to the audience* Strong attention to detail and good analytical skills* Highly collaborative with good leadership skills; able to manage multiple projects under tight deadlines.Job Types: Full-time, ContractSalary: $40.00 - $45.00 per hourExperience level:* 5 years* 6 years* 7 yearsPhysical setting:* OfficeSchedule:* Monday to FridayApplication Question(s):* Are you open to work at both locations?
