Our Combat Mission Systems business is seeking an embedded systems Cybersecurity Architect to join our Combat Mission Systems team - an industry leader in the design, development, manufacture, systems integration, and life cycle support for ground and amphibious combat vehicles and advanced weapon systems.This lead engineering role is an opportunity to help develop cutting-edge solutions and be a key contributor to a cross-functional team. We also offer completive salary packages and flexible work schedules, including a 9/80 schedule with every other Friday off and the ability to work remotely up to 2 days / week.In this role, the Cybersecurity Architect will: - Plan, lead, and execute programs with a team of cyber engineers.
- Serve as a senior technical advisor and SME for Cyber Security Systems Engineering to our US Government customer.
- Perform cyber security architecture and engineering tasks on embedded systems for military vehicle development programs, including security implementation, testing, and issue mitigation.
- Analyze cyber security requirements and controls, support development of risk mitigation plans for vulnerabilities, and support certification and evaluation efforts.
- Perform vulnerability scans with tools such as Nessus, ACAS, and Fortify.
- Communicate with customers, peers, subcontractors, and management. Actively participate in cyber security working groups and Integrated Product Teams (IPT) and support our customers in Adversarial Assessments (AA) or Cooperative Vulnerability Penetration Assessments (CVPA).
- Lead a team through proposal development of various programs in a manner to create a winning solution for the US Government and BAE Systems.Required Education, Experience, & Skills
- CompTIA Security+ or Certified Information Systems Security Professional (CISSP) - or obtained within one year of hiring for DoD Cybersecurity Compliance.
- Bachelor's Degree in a discipline such as Cybersecurity, Computer Engineering, Computer Science, Electrical/Electronic Engineering, or Information Systems and 8+ years work experience, or a Masters Degree in an engineering discipline and 6+ years experience, or the overall equivalent experience in a related field.
- Knowledge or practical experience of Risk Management Framework (RMF) and ability to apply the National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) controls and policies and Security Technical Implementation Guides (STIGs) to the system design and implementation.
- Experience/familiarity with digital networks, especially Ethernet architecture and associated protocols.Preferred Education, Experience, & Skills
