Position Overview: The Siemens Mobility Customer Service business seeks to hire a highly motivated, entrepreneuria l, and dedicated Project Manager to lead the transformation of our parts data management systems into a single, consolidated database. The Project Manager leads the project engineering team through the data consolidation project and coordinates with all internal stakeholders (e.g. Strategic Procurement, Maintenance Project Managers, Supply Chain, etc.). You will be fully responsible for all deliverables of the data consolidation project with broad autonomy to reach the result. This will include all processes and procedures related to data consolidation and discrepancy tracking / resolution, delivery of consolidated parts database with all necessary attributes and structure, agreed with all internal stakeholders, maintenance strategies, specifications and SoW's and rupdated user manuals, reflecting the consolidated parts database. What your day-to-day will look like: - Work closely with the internal stakeholders and engineering teams to ensure all engineering requirements are clarified and delivered on schedule and with the expected quality.
- Day to day management of an engineer (approximately 4 engineers) setting goals, priorities and resolving roadblocks.
- Drive the project timeline for all required deliverables within the overall project schedule.
- Organizing meetings to discuss project goals and progress.
- Drive continuous updates to the customer documentation (e.g., maintenance documentation, spare part's catalog, work instructions, special tools' documentation ).
To thrive in this role, you have: - Bachelor's degree. In lieu of Bachelor's degree, a combination of education and relevant work experience will be considered.
- Experience with data consolidation projects, or similar IT projects
- Working knowledge of maintenance management systems and RAM/LCC
- PMP Certification or other project management methodology and terminology body of knowledge.
- Leading projects with direct and/or indirect reports
- Setting you apart from others would be rail industry knowledge and experience.
