  As the Director, IS Enterprise Architecture for Scripps Health, you will be the strategic leader for the overall direction in the organization's technical infrastructure. This leadership role ensures high performance standards including patient and service excellence. Leads and facilitates change initiatives and acts as change agent by developing enthusiasm within staff for programmatic improvements.
  Scripps Health is looking for a leader that is a strong communicator and has the ability to collaborate to execute the strategic vision with creative thinking to advance Scripps Health technologies. The Director, IS Enterprise Architecture duties will also include:
  
  
  
  • Collaborate with other departments and leaders in the organization.
    
  • Design, constructs, maintains, enhances, and oversees the operations of the enterprise computing infrastructure.
    
  • Responsible for strategic development of computing, storage, Cloud, data center, network servers and information security infrastructure.
    
  • Epic infrastructure skills a plus.
    
  • Evaluates and applies new and developing computing technologies, including cloud-based solutions, relevant in a healthcare environment.
    
  • Stays current with new and emerging technologies and develops an understanding of their value in a healthcare environment.
    
    Required Education/Experience/Specialized Skills:
    
    
    
    • Bachelor's degree.
      
    • 10 years experience, 5 of which in a leadership position.
      
      Preferred Education/Experience/Specialized Skills/Certification:
      
      
      
      • Bachelor's degree in Computer Sciences or Engineering.
        
      • Master's degree preferred.
        
      • Certification in ITIL and COBIT.
        
      • Epic infrastructure skills.
