RMC is hiring for aSenior Systems Administratorto support a Department of the Navy (DoN) customer in Port Hueneme, CAPosition is contingent of successful award of contractResource Management Concepts, Inc(RMC) provides high-quality, professional services to government and commercial sectorsOur mission is to deliver exceptional management and technology solutions supporting the Responsibilities include: --- Monitor existing systems to ensure structural integrity --- Oversee the development and installation of new hardware and software --- Install and configure operating systems and other software and routinely test installed software for glitch detection and other issues --- Provide technical direction to IT support staff --- Ensure constant availability of technical resources --- Design and implement security systems and redundant backups to maintain data safety --- Write custom scripts to reduce the need for human intervention Requirements --- Minimum of five years of Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 Infrastructure experience --- Minimum of five years of Firewall, IDS, and/or IPS administration and configuration experience--- Experience with cabling management --- Minimum of five years securing a Cisco environment in accordance with DISA STIGs Education : Bachelor's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information SystemsCertification : CompTIA Security+ certification or equivalent requiredSecurity Clearance : An Interim DoD Secret Clearance is required to startPersonnel may be required to obtain and maintain a TS clearanceApplicant selected may be subject to a security investigation and must meet eligibility requirements for access to classified information Preferred Skills --- Master's level degree in Electrical/Electronic/Computer Engineering, Computer Science, or Information Systems--- Advanced Cyber Certification - GSLC; CISSP; CISM; CAP; CASP Minimum of five years of experience with scoping, architecture and design of new network infrastructure including cryptographic and long haul requirements More...
